Most recently Rowan has run creative arts workshops focusing on Spirals, the Matisse snail and the interplay of colour and expression. Additionally she led a creative arts project on swifts, designed for both adults and children, exploring the grace and movement of these birds through various artistic mediums. Inspired by stories and journeys initiated a project that brought together participants to create a large piece of collaborative art work that reflected shared experiences and imaginative exploration. Annually she leads a local primary school project all about trees, children are encouraged to identify different trees, measure and age trees, take part in creative activities that celebrate the beauty of trees and  work on challenging climate anxiety by every child getting to plant a tree.

She runs art and craft workshops that introduce a wide variety of medias and techniques. Throughout her workshops she sees firsthand how the process of art and creative activities can have a profound impact on mental health, reducing stress and increasing feelings of connection and achievement.

Her workshops can be adapted to work alongside specific requirements and settings, a curriculum idea, or a particular story. They are inclusive of children of all ages and abilities, young people, students, adults and older people. Please contact Rowan for more details and to discuss bespoke workshops and fees.
