Privacy Policy

Privacy

Hello, thanks for viewing my website rowanbeecham.com and your interest in my work. Due to GDPR regulations, I am required, by law, to inform you about any data I may collect about you while you browse.

Like millions of other website owners, I use Google Analytics. This is a piece of software (that uses a cookie) to grab bits of data about my visitors (you). It’s something like an advanced server log.

What does Google Analytics record?

  • What website you came from to get here.
  • How long you stay for.
  • What kind of computer you’re using.
  • And quite a bit more.

Want to opt out of tracking?

You can use a browser plugin to opt out of all Google Analytics tracking software.

What do I do with your data?

The tracking information allows me to make better decisions on the design and content of my website. It gives me an idea of the kind of people who come to my site and what content they are reading. No personally identifying data is included in this type of reporting.

On occasion, I will compile aggregate statistics about the number of visitors this site receives and browsers being used. All of my activity falls within the bounds of the Google Analytics Terms of Service.

What else do I collect?

My website also uses WooCommerce and PayPal to facilitate and process any orders you may place. Any personal information that you provide is retained securely.

Keeping things Secure

If you give us debit or credit card information that is held by PayPal, who are obliged to take all measures to protect it – I do not hold it.

Your rights

If at any point you believe your information being held is incorrect or you wish to see the information, have it deleted or amended or have any queries, concerns or complaints about your data, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

I last updated this page on the 28/11/23 – if you have any more questions relating to your privacy on my website – please feel free to contact me.
